Perfectly said.
Today I logged onto the webbank on the new "Sampo" internet banking
for the first time. Not only was I faced by the ugly design and
complete disfunctionality of the user interface, but trying to
transfer from one of my account to the second was a real challenge.
The accounts show the number but not the amounts of funds they
contain and the previous click away from "transfer between own
account" has become a venture into several steps of painfull
clicking.

The banking experience is long and contains many unnecessary steps to
complete simple tasks. In comparison with the old system it is light
years behind.
Not only that ,but after managing to transfer some fund in to my
second account, the amount wasn't reflected in that account and when
trying to pay a bill which was for a larger sum than what the account
had before the transfer, the whole system shut down ( not my browser)
and it kicked me out to log in again. Guess what , I did this run-
around for 15 times and every-time the system couldn't understand
that some funds were transfered from one of my accounts to the second
of the same bank, thus not being able to full-fill the request of
payments. I don't suppose they expect me to wait 3 days for that in
between account transfer from the same name.branch..:-)

I mean we are in 2008, how hard is it to program simple banking tasks
that have been going on for years. I am feed up and changing my bank
tomorrow. I have no time to be running around to any in-bank customer
services point and have to face a line of 30 people who also had
trouble. Instead of putting their money in changing the logos and
signs on every branch in Helsinki, here is a clue....make your online
web service work fast !
To bad Dansk (Sampo) it was a great service before the change.
