Hello Everybody
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY! I wish each and every one of you a great great
2008. I also hope to see many of you here in Sunny Florida this year.
And
speaking of Florida, SAY HELLO TO A GOOD BUY!
And why say HELLO TO A GOOD BUY? There are a number of good reasons why.
1. 3 weeks ago, our company had a guest speaker who was an official from
Countrywide Mortgage! His bottom line feelings was: This is the
beginning
of the bottom of the Real Estate market.
2. 2 weeks ago, there was an article in the Fort Myers News Press that a
large holding company had just bought 850 vacant lots for 17 plus million
dollars or about $20,000 per lot. A purchase of that size would certainly
put weight on the fact that we are near the bottom
3. Last week on Television, a special interview with Donald Trump,
certainly a Real Estate giant. He strongly suggested two years ago to
listeners that they should not be investing in Real Estate due to an
imminent crash. He said that most people at the time, would not heed his
advice because of the heat of the market. In this interview aired last
week, he suggested that between now and the next 6 months, people and
investors should be loading up on Real Estate. He said that there are
bargains out there that may never again occur. He also said that most
people who should be buying now, will not because so many got burned when
properties were bought in 2005 and 2006. Trump went on to say that those
who buy today and over the next 6 months will make most of the wealth in
today's Real Estate opportunity.
4. And finally, yours truly can tell you that activity on my Internet
system is percolating better than it ever has (and I have a big system).
However, I'm still waiting for the coffee, but I feel that its getting
close.
The above represents the feeling that many of us in the industry feel. Add
to that, low interest rates of 6.0% or less fixed for 30 years, and its
definitely starting to sound like a recipe for a strong come back.
Today we have a great selection of homes that are selling for 66% of what
they were selling for 2 short years ago. Today, Cape Coral on the Florida
Gulf of Mexico coast is very affordable. You can buy Ocean access property
with a single family home on it for as little as $217,300, and that
includes
an in ground pool as well. Its just not going to get any better than that
folks. Plus, every property is guaranteed to come with more Sunshine,
more
Warmth than any other place in the country. Add to that, Boating,
Beaching,
Fishing, Golfing, Theme Parks and what can I say. What are you waiting
for?
