We have all heard of real estate fire sales, and now in California,
there seems to be more fuel added to those fires. Distressed
properties are quite common these days in California, due to the high-
risk loan fallouts and issues with drastic decreases in prices.
However, that is not all, the October 2007 California Fires took out
huge numbers of properties. Over 2,000 homes were destroyed and large
amounts of property burned. Now many people wish to sell, there are
fewer buyers now due to the fear, even though 2,000 new families in
need of a new home now exist.
The California fires were disastrous there is no doubt and one can
only wonder if anyone wins when there are huge fires, well except for
the all the car washes which have lines of cars for half a mile for a
week straight after the fires are put out. Many folks after natural
disasters will sell their homes on the cheap. In California it happens
after every major Earthquake and Wildfire, in Florida it happens after
every Hurricane, it is just a fact of the trials and tribulations of
the real-estate sector in these regions of our nation....
