It really has more to do with the number of degrees of freedom, and
intermolecular forces than with size, per se.

It depends on your system of notation. For example Feynman gives PV=NRT
where N is the number of moles and R=kN_o. k is Boltzmann's constant and
N_o is Avogadro's number. P is pressure, and V is volume and T is absolute
temperature. Vol I, 39.23

I'm more interested in work such as that by Dr. Bas van Geel. He does not
pretend to have proved his hypothesis regarding what is driving the
current
global warming trend. He does provide a compelling argument for
considering an alternative (to GHG) cause.
I get flamed a lot for citing his work, but that does not refute his
arguments. His research is solid and world-class.
