Oh How I have been following the demise of Mr Sullivan's so called
finance company. In 1997 the same year Mr Sullivan established his
finance company I invested in The Salty Plum restaurant on the Gold
Coast as a joint partner with Maldon Investments... yes Mr and Mrs
Sullivan's own company. As a working partner the first few months of
operation were terrific with the Sullivans being very helpful and
accomodating with assistance in learning the day to running of the
business. Then after 6 months of operation it all changed. Sullivan
decided that he wanted it all and set about locking me out of the
business by denying me access to daily records and trading figures.
With a loan to service I was unable to meet the repayments. Niether my
accountant nor myself could access information nor would Sullivan
provide it, operating in collusion with the chef I was forced out of
the business consequnetly loosing my $300,000 investment plus
plus.........I have since discovered this was not the first time that
Sullivan has used the little person to acquire his wealth..... Be
careful all is not what it seems as I was privileged to sit in the head
office for 6 months and heard many unsettling things discussed I just
never thought that it would happen to me
