ABC Invents Another Warming Scare

Geophysicist and reader M. says the ABC is inventing yet another global
warming scare with this news bulletin:
The Fred Hollows Foundation has issued a warning that people around the
world are in greater danger of losing their vision because of climate
change. The foundation says that decreases in the ozone layer could lead
to more exposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays, which are one of the most
common causes of cataract blindness.
M., knowing there's little evidence of a link between warming and the

Sure enough it doesn't mention climate change at all. It seems the
climate change angle was entirely concocted by the ABC.
Cue shock. Cue surprise. Cue correction?
