Sadly, Annabel, Bonzo is most likely someone suffering from multiple
personality disorders who has focused on AGW and what he regards as
'socialism' as his hot button issues. His posting pattern is
compulsive. Almost all of the content is copy and paste disinformation
from websites runing the line that the AGW-hypothesis is the result of
some sort of unholy alliance between scientists, environmentalists,
commodity speculators, socialists/marxists/liberals big government
advocates, the IPCC and their media entourage variously to
a) destroy western industrial society/destroy America (socialists/
marxists)
b) raise taxes (socialists/marxists, big government advocates,
liberals)
c) kill as many Africans as possible (liberals and socialists)
d) become part of a new commodity market (speculators)
e) transfer wealth from the first world to the third world
(socialists, marxists, liberals)
f) secure research grants through scientific fraud (scientists, big
government advocates)
e) Destroy humanity, return to stone age conditions
(environmentalists)

Here's the essential common core of hatred and destruction in the
doctrines of Communism, Nazism, and Environmentalism. Only the concretes
differ, not the fundamental principle of hatred for human life and
happiness.
Communism: The pursuit of individual self-interest causes monopolies,
depressions, and exploitation of workers by capitalists. It must be
replaced by self-sacrifice for the benefit of the working class and the
Socialist State. Capitalists and landowners must be exterminated for the
benefit of the proletariat.
Nazism: The pursuit of individual self-interest causes racial impurity,
national decline, and exploitation of German workers by Jewish
capitalists. It must be replaced by self-sacrifice for the good of the
Aryan master race and the National Socialist State. Jews, Gypsies, and
Slavs must be exterminated for the benefit of the German Nation.
Environmentalism: The pursuit of individual self-interest causes global
warming, acid rain, and ozone depletion. It must be replaced by
self-sacrifice for the good of other species-our "fellow biota"-and for
the good of the planet, under the auspices of international treaties and
a nascent Global Socialist State: the UN. Most of the human race must be
exterminated for the benefit of exploited species and the planet. (This
is what the environmentalist "extremists" already openly say. The
"moderates" merely want to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 90 percent
and thereby reduce the American standard of living to that of a third
world country, with a third world country's infant mortality and life
expectancy.)

Bonzo will post anyone saying anything that seems in his view to in
some way bring the idea of GHG mitigation into disrepute. It doesn't
matter to him if what he posts is credible or nonsensical or if the
person whose text he has lifted is plainly loopy or if the claims that
are made are red herrings or if his post puts contrary positions
within it.
He is driven by angst that is bigger than he is. He fears 'socialism'
and liberals which he identifies with AGW theory. Like many Americans,
he fears 'tax' as a self-evident evil. He feels driven to post in the
way an obsessive compulsive has to recheck that the gas is off five
times before leaving the house. There is very little of interest in
his posts to those who aren't interested in observing mania at work or
keeping across the latest in global polluters cartel disinformation.
If you aren't interested and use a newsreader, I'd say killfile him.
If, like me, you use google groups, his headers are easy to spot and
just move on.
