This time its Lawyers For Forests going in to bat for whats left of our
heritage, against the corrupt Labor-Gunns junta in Tasmania. Nearly a year
ago Gunns pulled out of the legal environmental *****sment because they
didn't want any environmental constraints at all. They said if the mill
was not passed by June 30 they would start losing $1 million a day. At
their last AGM they were asked if this had added-up to a vast sum, given
it was six months later. Gunns admitted it was just another lie amongst
thousands. They renovated Paul Lennons house and he didn't even bother
getting a second quote. Why would he? The amounts of cash that has flowed
between his government and one company is in the millions.
