Not at all.

It is a clear prediction of global warming that as more heat is trapped
in the lower troposphere that the stratosphere at the heights where
intercontinental aircraft cruise will get colder.

When it gets below -80C and the conditions are exactly right we get
treated to displays of polar stratospheric clouds over the UK (which are
normally exceedingly rare at temperate latitudes). There have been a few
displays of PSCs in the past decade or so over the UK (prior to that you
have to go back to Krakatoa in 1884-5 for regular annual displays).

The very cold air in the stratosphere is one consequence of less heat
escaping from the troposphere and thinning of the ozone layer in spring.
