I don't know if this is the right group for it, but I am in need of
help.
Last year I signed a lease with the owner of our condo. A few months
into our lease we were served papers stating that the property was
being foreclosed. We called the landlord, and he stated that it was a
mistake. So we have been paying him rent and according to the bank
holding the mortgage, he hasn't paid in over 7 months. So where our
money is going is beyond us.
We just spoke to the bank and they are stating the property will be
put up for auction if he doesn't pay what is owed. I really don't want
to move. Can anyone help me as to what I can do? Am I going to have no
choice but to move again?
