Don't forget to add this current Boeing situation to the meltdown.
Timeline:
1) ****kers and Boeing execs turn the first Boeing deal into a lease deal
that will cost the US taxpayer billions more than it ought to. Democrats
such as Cantwell are in favor, Republicans such as Stevens are in favor,
Democrats such as Lautenberg and Levin are opposed, Republicans such as
Fitzgerald, Warner, McCain and Sununu are opposed.
2) The Wa****ngton Post publishes emails from Pentagon executives referring
to the deal as a "bailout for Boeing" and "screwing the taxpayer" as well
as
"violating Pentagon procurement rules.
3) McCain nails the ****kers and the execs. Darlene Dryun, who started the
deal in Pentagon procurement and was then hired by Boeing, goes to jail.
Michael Sears, Boeing executive, goes to jail.
4) Now, certain partisans are blaming McCain for the Boeing loss to
Northrup/EADS, which is fallacious prima facie because McCain has nothing
to
do with the procurement decision. Therefore, one can only assume that they
are referring to his initial work in derailing the lease deal.
Anyone who blames McCain for the Boeing loss is then subject to the
inescapable conclusion that they sup****t goverment corruption in the
procurement process.
