The problem is that they don't adjust it for where you live. In NJ if
you're making $ 75,000 ADJUSTED GROSS INCOME, you're just making ends
meet. If you are living in other parts of the country and you're
making $ 75,000 you're rich. In Edison here you may pay $ 12,000 a
year in property tax, my friend in FL pays less than $1000. His son in
KY buys a nice house for $ 40,000. In any part of NJ that's just a
down payment.
