Hello..I work for a company which untill recently has been 42%
employee owned...They announced they are selling the company and the
new company is buying out all the shares of Employee stock..That`s all
good and fine...Everyone is figuring up their shares and contemplating
how much we`ll all get as various figures are bouncing around...My
problem is for some odd reason the most recent stock statement I can
find is the one ending on December 31, 2004..I have gotten more shares
every year since then but try as I might I can`t remember what the
figures were (They haven`t released the 2007 shares yet so I am
missing the 2005-2006 statements) ....I want to contact the guy who
overseas the ESOP at my company for a replacement statement so I can
kind of figure out what I possibly have coming but my panicky wife
says don`t because she is scared that if I say I have no stock
statement they`ll say that means I no longer have shares of stock...I
can`t imagine that is the case as it`s just a statement of shares and
not an actual tradeable stock certificate..I could just wait til they
announce the 2007 shares and the final sales figure per share and find
out but that might be a month or two and I`m curious now what I may
have coming....Should I just ask for another 2006 statement?..Thanks
