Most of the gains since the Dot Com Bubble have been riding on air
provided by the ~100:1 leverage of hedge funds like Bear Stearns BSAM
group.
The hedge fund bubble popped with the BSAM failure, and there is
likely more bad news to come.

Post Dot-Com the DOW regressed to 8000, and might have gone to 6000
without a lift from hedegfund hyperliquidity.
I think it really depends on how well the big boys unwind there
positions, but the Dow might / could regress to 8000 on panic and
recover to around 10k
Then again, we might find a new bubble pick up where this one leaves
off. Who can say?
In any case, this hedge fund bubble is over.
The Dow will regress... to where is anyones guess.
