Lydall, Inc. and its subsidiaries engage in the design and manufacture of
specialty engineered automotive thermal and acoustical barriers,
industrial thermal and insulating solutions, air and liquid filtration
media, medical filtration media and devices, and biopharmaceutical
processing components for thermal/acoustical and filtration/separation
applications. The company's Thermal/Acoustical segment designs and
manufactures engineered temperature control equipment for semiconductor,
pharmaceutical, life sciences, and industrial applications. This segment
offers automotive thermal and acoustical barriers, which comprise organic
and inorganic fiber composites, fiber and metal combinations, and metal
components that are used in cars, trucks, s****t utility vehicles, and
vans. Its thermal products are also used as linings for ovens, kilns, and
furnaces in glass and metal manufacturing, and consumer appliances, as
well as in heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems. Lydall's
Filtration/Separation segment offers air filtration products for
industrial and commercial heating, ventilating and air-conditioning
systems, clean space applications, and consumer products; and liquid
filtration media that are used for industrial and residential water
purification, as well as hydraulic oil and lubrication filters for off-
road vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment. It also designs and
manufactures vital fluids management systems, such as blood transfusion
and cell therapy products, and sterilized disposable bioprocessing
containers, as well as medical filter materials that are used in
cardiotomy reservoirs and autotransfusion filters. Further, the company
offers ****pment and warehouse management services for the paper and
printing industries. Lydall sells its products primarily to original
equipment manufacturers and tier one suppliers primarily in the United
States. The company was founded in 1913 and is based in Manchester,
Connecticut.

FROM THE 10K ANNUAL RE****T:
During the third quarter of 2007, the Hamptonville, North Carolina
operation began installation of equipment to accommodate new business
which comes on line in early 2008. Also, the Company continued its long-
term focus on establi****ng its position with Asian automotive
manufacturers in North America. The Company received its first orders
from an Asian automotive manufacturer located in the U.S in 2007. The
Company expects to begin ****pment on these orders in the second half of
2008
