Of course, and I emphasised that in his not being articulate. But the
fact remains that at least he is in touch with main street America and
what needs to be done to at least in part straighten out current
problems. Something the dems and repubs are totally clueless and out
of touch with.

So that pretty much rules out all politicians?

Name "everything" the government is doing right?

Maybe. But, how many dems and repubs laid out solutions (that would
work) for education, health care, etc...?

Who says he needs to make that much? He won Minnesota on a $300k
campaign. At least that is what he said on LKL.

Wrong, most of us know what needs to be done to overhaul health care,
and other vital services, but it's pretty obvious that "seasoned"
members of congress cannot and will not do anything about it when
sucking up to lobbiests and big business.

I never said anything about ****-canning the parties; they can hang
out and make all the noise they want to anyone stupid enough to listen
to them. I've been pu****ng and sup****ting a 3 party system (or
better) for the longest time.

Again, I never said anything about dissolving the parties. I'm all
for a 3rd party or more of them. Also, it depends on the economic
climate. If the economy sucks, people are going to vote their
wallets. No smooth talker is going to pursuade them otherwise.

Since Reagan/Bush going forward.

Get a grip, it's just a satirical label. However, America has be run
by Yale alumni since Bush Sr. Since Reagan policies went into effect
and the administrations that followed, the country has been going to
hell ever since.

I disagree. Juggling numbers and charts of accounts on how Clinton's
administration reflected a balanced budget is BS. The economy was
growing ill under Clinton and tanked when Bush Jr, took office. The
equity markets, specifically the the tech sector, slide big time while
Clinton was still in office, and Bush Jr. only took a bad situation
and made matters far worse. Sorry, the fundamentals are not there to
sup****t a Clinton supereconony. You are right about diplomatic
relations. But then, Bubba said and did little in terms of foreign
affairs except for signing NAFTA and GATT into law and giving China
most favored nation status. Oh, and facilitating mergers that gave
rise to cor****ate robber barons. Our economy has been sliding ever
since.

Wrong again. In fact, not at all. Are you naive enough to think
earth shaking changes in public policy will come from the prevailing
passive, status quo political machine? You want to see change in this
country? Follow the blood trail. I see nothing happening until then.
