The question I have always had is why the hell do these conservatives
and our politicians want to make enemies of the Arab countries or
Moslims? Really. Of course what they have done to us have been
cowardly acts, but how else can they fight back? They can't go head-to-
head with us. What they have done can't be excused, but has been in
response to the oppression and meddling we have been doing all these
years in the Middle East. For once I would like to hear of us taking
their side in this Israeli conflict. Do you know that the UN has
condemned what Israel has done many times only to have the US come to
their defense? The Arabs really need some sort of public relations
organization in the US. Did you know that two notable Arabs once set
up an office in Wa****ngton, DC to lobby and try to influence Congress
and Henry Kissinger had them de****ted? What is astounding to me is how
much the American people have been fed misinformation and lies all
these years. And here we are wasting billions in the Middle East which
may have been needlessly. Something about this picture has always
seemed wrong to me since I have always viewed these people as
basically wanting a peaceful and comfortable life like everyone else.
Why would anyone willingly create unrest and death and destruction? It
defies common sense. George Bush says " they hate us because we have
freedom." What? Does that make any sense? In the end it may not work,
but I sure would like for us to do an experiment and reach out to the
Arab countries and demonstrate to them that we want to be friends
instead of what certainly sounds to me as adetermination of making
them our enemy. If Israel can't survive on it own then so be it. What
the hell are they to us anyway? Had they gone in there without an
attitude of confrontation they may not have had all these problems. I
could go into some of the history of how their goal was to exterminate
the Arabs!
