During the 1967 war Israel stood aloneagainst five Arab amies intent
on it's destruction, sup****ted by Soviet Armor,
Aircraft and technicians. The defeat of those 5 armies, destruction of
Soviet bombers on the ground and the capture of 1,000 Soviet tanks led
to the
humiliation of the Soviets and their retreat from the region.At the
start of the war when the stated goals of "driving Israel into the
sea".
During this battle for survival Israel attacked a ****p believed to be
an enemy. Clearly there are numerous instances of friendly fire on
fellow troops or allied troops. During WWII thousands of Americans
were shelled by American ****ps or fired upon by other units. The
difference
of the instance of the USS Liberty mistakenly bombed during the battle
there was no instance before or after where Americans were killed by
Israelis and there was never a single instance where Israelis or any
Jew anywhere rejoiced or celebrated the attack on the USS Liberty.
Compare this to the celebrations in the Muslim world when Hezbollah
blew up the US Marine barracks in Lebanon. Or compare the cheering
and celebrations in the Islamic world where when the attacks on the
WTC with 3,000 Americans died and Muslims bought pictures of their
hero
Osama bin Laden.Who should we sup****t? Syria? Iran? Hezbollah that
killed hundreds of American Marines in Lebanon or our loyal ally,
since 1948,
Israel the only democracy in the Middle East.
