The only holdovers from the Financial News Network are Bill and Sue and
Ron
Insana. Liz was not fired. Murdoch made her an offer she couldn't refuse
and
it was an easy decision for Liz. CNBC gave her really lousy hours which
were
incompatible with being a mom for two kids. Liz, even with two children,
remains a beautiful woman.
FNN did have Jewish woman as an achor, Liebe Geft,. I believe Liebe is
now the
spokesperson for the Wiesenthal Center.
On the FNN, Liebe gave the most tongue-in-cheek interview with Arch
Crawford, a
commodities guy who allegedly gets his trading signals from astrology.
Liebe,
if you may remember, has a deep upper-crust British accent. It was rather
hilarious to see her extremely formal interview style matched against
Crawford's
rather ridiculous sales shtick.
Lubow.
