How to find out buyer/seller

Someone has told thier broker to buy 5 million shares of company xyz, 2% 
each day until order complete.
Orders show up in after hours at what looks like the average price for the

day, is this a clue?
How can average joe find out who is buying and who is selling those
shares?
What if it only 500K total shares?
