 common sense would have been that the banks, that have all of
americas financial information at the click of a mouse, would not have
loaned their stock holders money to people who could obviously not pay
it back. they had the information, even if people lied. so, what they
did was loan out the money, then sell the bonds to unsuspecting
institutions, fraud.
