Re: What's the best purchase you've ever made and why ?

Thanks for getting me thinking. And thank you to the fellow who mentioned 
the Toro weed whacker for his Dad. Reminded me of the air rifle I got for
my 
Dad. You see, when he was little, his brother (my uncle) had a BB gun. Dad

had mentioned being envious of the BB gun, and wi****ng for one. So, one 
Christmas I bought him a Crossman 760. Might have been the best Christmas 
present I ever got.

Now, as to myself. I finally convinced myself to buy a digital camera,
about 
a year ago. Bought a Lumix LS-70 at BJ's Wholesale Club, $99.95. Best 
hundred bucks I've ever spent. I've had more fun with that camera than 
nearly any other item I've ever bought. I take all the pictures I want. No

worries about the cost of film. Delete the ones which don't come out.
