Not much different from the Republicans where half of what Bush does
is a joke, but unlike Robbin Williams, would never draw a laugh.
For instance these items are a Bush administration joke:
(1) care of the environment
(2) care about global warming
(3) packing the courts with antiabortionists in order to throw out the
abortion
laws
(4) the bloodshed and violence of the Middle East is a backburner for Bush
and a concern only as it can help Bush get a 2nd term. Bush cares only
about Palestine and Israel, only to the extent of what it means for his
re-election, and who cares about the 10s of millions of people with their
crisis
(5) comprehensive worldwide policy on nuclear weapons. Bush does not
even realize that the world is ****d without the security insurance of a
Revised M.A.D. In fact, Bush probably does not even know that M.A.D
is gone once the Berlin Wall was torn down in 1990.
(6) Bush hates stem-cell research and hates human-cloning. In fact, Bush
seems to delight in imposing his own personal tastes upon the entire
community of Science and scientists. Rather than letting people determine
what they want and do not want, Bush administration is happy to
impose their own personal taste.
(7) Bush administration is highly combative, secretive in a world where
cooperation with allies and openness and frankness are better goals.
(8) Bush economic policy does not work and is nothing new. His policy
is nothing more than a rehash of Reagan policy. Simply put it is to
tax less and hope the consumer spends more, but ends up with Budget
Deficits. Bush is not smart enough to realize that to make the Economy
grow means you must allow Big Business to make the leaps and bounds
ahead, not by giving the little guys a few hundred or a few thousand
dollars
in tax savings. What Bush needs is my new Antitrust law Reform. Let
any company buyout almost any other company in Recession times. Let
GE buy Honeywell. Let SBC buy Qwest. Let Merck buy Schering Plough.
Let Microsoft buy AT&T. During times of Boom, then reverse the
actions. Breakup Microsoft and breakup Verizon and breakup Cisco.
To move the economy means that the big guys have to move things. Not
to give the little squirts of the world a tax break. The economy moves
only
as long as the big guys move.
Bush did the correct thing by firing his previous economic staff. But he
still
is ignorant of what to do to really make the Economy work. And I don't
think the Democrats are cognizant either of what to make the Economy work.
(9) the price of oil is an issue that must always be high on the list of
priorities
for any and every administration. Bush is doing a good job on watching oil
prices and doing something about them
As for Fred Chittenden, the lover of the Republican party. Question Fred.
How
is it that you love the Republican party so much, yet the Republican Party
seems
to want little to do with you? I mean, your love of Republicans should
have
made you the vice president of the USA by now, and not some Internet
posting
spewer. Perhaps the answer is that the Republican Party cannot stand
someone
like Fred Chittenden-- a self righteous bloke.
