TV business shows bozo award for 2000 "new economy" Optimal Strategy of

There should be given Bozo awards for Business shows on TV. My
nomination
for the year 2000 was the "new economy" and the "new economy companies".

These errors should not be forgotten so easily. Anyone living through
the
2000 StockMarket Recession remembers well that the TV business shows
such as Nightly Business Re****t kept blairing out this "new economy"
and "new economy companies" These were high tech companies such as
Microsoft, Intel, Cisco etc etc that were touted as being immune to
rising
interest rates. And companies such as GE, Honeywell, Hewlett Packard
were
thought of as "old economy companies". I even remember Suzie Gherub as
saying that new-economy-companies like it when the Federal Reserve
raises
interest rates. Exactly for what reason I do not recall at this point in
time. But
all of these business shows on TV are archived so that future people can

review them and laugh at how these shows are so distorted. Distorted in
that
they are supposed to inform the public of facts and data, but instead
spew
out too much opinion and bias.

Can someone tell me what person actually dreamed up this crap of a
"new economy" and "new economy companies". And can someone
review all of the Nightly Business Re****ts from 1999 to 2003 and tell
us how many times this silly concept of "new economy" was splattered
out.

The TV bozo award for year 2000 should go to the Nightly Business
Re****t for this division of the companies as to "old economy" versus
"new economy" because that deception probably swayed many
investors into thinking something was wrong in buying say SBC
or Verizon rather than buying Cisco at 50 or some dotcom.

The bozo award for 2001?

The bozo award for 2002? I have a candidate for that. It is the double
dip
recession concept. It never ceases to amaze me how TV business shows
pick on something that is simpleton minded and how they rehash and
rehash
it over and over again. Never knowing that it was vacuous in the first
place.

The bozo award for 2003? Well, we have only been in the first month so
far.
But already I detect a bozo award for the Nightly Business Re****t in
regards
to their constant and increasing charm and "overre****ting" of Krispy
Kreme.
For God sakes, when the price of oil is of tantamount concern and the
NBR gives but 3 seconds of time to what oil is priced for that day, yet
devotes
15 minutes each month to how some donut company is fairing. What gives
here?
Does Krispy Kreme stuff Paul Kangas with donuts to get those 15 minute
segments? We should not be knowing about this company Krispy Kreme
because it is not an im****tant company. We should be knowing about
im****tant
business news.
