Stephen,
I think that's a perfectly sensible question, and you havea good case to
make: something like evolutionary bio is economics for all of life, not
just the human odds and ends.
My thought was rather that economics includes all that is in
evolutionary bio -- plus things like consciously built organizations,
rational strategising, and some more. Still, the degree to which the
study of say US Steel involves anything not covered in the study of
other forms of ant-hill is not necessarily obvious...
