Because that's what raises the limit of how much business you can do.

Sure, for a small number of businesses, land is less of a limiting
factor than for others. But manufacturing is typically quite reliant
on land, both for location and raw materials.

ROTFL!! Just how far is the plant's location from that good
trans****tation, hmmmm? Land is very much a limiting factor for that
business: he needs a location near good trans****tation. Time to stop
typing and start thinking, pal.

And you will let us know when the guy is driven out of business by
Chinese competition, won't you?

Lie. Wal-Mart is a perfect example of the im****tance of land as a
limiting factor. They choose locations near population centers, then
get zoning concessions from local governments that let them do what
others were not allowed to do on that land. The total value of the
land-use concessions Wal-Mart has obtained from local governments is
in the tens of billions of dollars.

>(is that word too big), is the largest company in the world, huh, my
>friend?

The notion that Wal-Mart does not care where they locate their stores,
or does not consider land a limiting factor, is so breath-takingly
stupid and dishonest, one scarcely knows where to begin in demoli****ng
it.
