Yesterday's move of the Federal Reserve was so characteristic or
Republican
Administrations. Since the times or Reagan they have been ****fting their
problems, their burdens off their shoulders onto the shoulders of our
children and our yet-to-be-born grandchildren. Yesterday investors
rejoiced
thinking about what the move of the Federal Reserve would mean for the
troubled banks burdened with the mortgage junk they had invested their
clients' money in. The Fed's move may be beneficial for the banks, but my

concern is: what will it mean for the US Treasury?

Every time US Treasuries are thrown into the market it means that the US
Treasury is becoming more indebted! Yesterday that indebtedness (National

Debt) stood at $9,399 Billion (increasing on average by $1.69 Billion per
day - all criminal Bush wars are now financed mostly by new debt!). Does
yesterday's move of the Federal Reserve increase our National Debt by
$400
Billion overnight?

Yes, the bankers may now rejoice - they will be able to exchange the
mortgage-backed junk for the US Treasury debt obligations which are more
liquid just because the Administrations keep paying the interest on the
treasuries. How long will we be able to pay that interest before our
whole
country goes into bankruptcy? The Bushes have already moved our currency
much closer to the junk status, will the treasuries be next?

Here is how our moving towards bankruptcy works: Suppose you want to
spend
more money this month than your income. This situation is called a "budget

deficit". So you borrow. The amount you borrowed (and now owe) is called
your debt. You have to pay interest on your debt. If next month you don't
have enough money to cover your spending (another deficit), you must
borrow
some more, and you'll still have to pay the interest on the loan. If you
have a deficit every month, you keep borrowing and your debt grows. Soon
the
interest payment on your loan is bigger than any other item in your
budget.
Eventually, all you can do is pay the interest payment, and you don't have

any money left over for anything else. This situation is known as
bankruptcy. ( http://www.federalbudget.com/
)

Republicans are trying to pose as defenders of rights of the unborn
children, yet they keep burdening those unborn children with more and more

debt. We already pay over $400 Billion/year in interest on our National
Debt (compare that with $61 Billion on Education!) How long will it be
before our children will have no money to pay for education, for repairing

our crumbling infrastructure, for all of their other current social
necessities and spend ALL of the taxes collected by their future
Administrations on paying interest on the debt GENERATED BY US? How long
will it be before they will not be able to pay that interest and the
Treasuries themselves will be brought down to junk status? - At the rate
that we are going - not very long and many of the investors and bankers
who
rejoiced today will still be in the market. - They'd better start thinking

strategically instead of living one day at a time.
