It's nicknamed "Dollarization". Several countries use the U.S. dollar
as their currency. For example, the last I heard Ecuador uses U.S.
dollars. But most people don't like it because of national pride. I
think it is a good idea, especially a country like Ecuador, suddenly
overnite they have a depnedable, reliable currency. Personally, I
would like to see one single, worldwide currency. It would make trade
and travel much better.
