I forget which of those two senators from North Dakota wrote a book
about the Federal Deficit but here
is some mathematics that is highly relative to the farm state of North
Dakota and the need for both
Conrad and Dorgan to rally behind (sic) North Dakota farmers.
The Keystone Oil Pipeline which pipes tar sand sludge under high
pressure spends 30,000 barrels of
oil energy per every 400,000 barrels refined. An alternative method of
refining the oil in Canada and then
Railroad hauling the product to destinations in the USA costs merely
1,000 barrels of oil per every
400,000. And the Railroad method does not ruin one single farmers
field.
So why are the senators of North Dakota helping the farmers to halt
the Keystone Pipeline?
The Republican Party of Bush and Cheney are anti-environment. They do
nothing about Global Warming
and they are in favor of Oil Companies and they are ANTI -FARMERS.
The Republican Party has become Anti FARMERS, just as the Republican
Party cares nothing about
the environment.
The way to remedy this is to pack both the Senate and House of
Representatives with Democrats
and to vote solid party lines of Democratic.
All the FARM STATES should now become Democratic Party states.
FARMING is ENVIRONMENT and the Republican Party cares more about Oil
than it cares about
Farmers, Farming and Farm Land.
So vote solid party ticket of Democrat and get rid of Republicans in
the Farm States.
If you do not, then expect there to be nothing but oil pipelines
crisscrossing every farm state.
Take a look at Iowa, where they do not allow one single Canadian oil
pipeline to ruin a single
farm field. Those in Iowa know the mathematics of wasting 29,000
barrels of oil when a Railroad
haul will save 29,000 and where not one single FARMFIELD is ruined so
that some clinically obese
Texans can make more oil profits.
