Yet another nail in the myth of "small government" pathetic theory spread
by
the fanatic cult of faith based economics.
What "Small government" really means is: taxpayers have to pay more to
bring
good profits to private contractors.

The Government Accountability Office said that as the government's
workforce
has shrunk, its demand for services has mushroomed and procurement deals
have become more complex and hard to manage.
Last year, the Defense Department spent $158.3 billion on services -- a 76
percent increase over the past decade, and more than what it spends on
supplies, equipment and major weapons systems, according to the re****t.
The GAO found that 42 percent of the Army's CCE procurement specialists
are
contractors, up from 24 percent in fiscal 2005. The re****t said relying so
much on contractors creates "the risk of loss of government control over
and accountability" for government programs.
The re****t also said that some contractors are paid $74.99 per hour -- 27
percent more than government employees who are doing the same work

The world of the future will be fully democratic or will not be at all.
Democracy Highlander
P.S.:
When I say "democratic", I use the word democratic coming from democracy
not
from Democratic party. I am not connected in any way with Democratic party
and if they fail to do as promised and cut cor****ate corruption I have no
problem to turn on them and blog against them too.
