Crazy is still crazy, whether greed infected or not. Wanting
a modestly decent life isn't particularly "greed", but wanting
to spread that around is one core value of the present mess.
While there are isolated pockets of utter insanity, the *overall*
system works towards that end almost overwhelmingly. We're looking
over our shoulder at 1929 at all times, wondering how to make
the biscuits and gravy work out.

Because of having my observations biased ( by working for three European
companies and then a Canadian firm ), I suspect there's simply a delay.
It would be nice if I were wrong. I fear the Euro is as much a fa****on
statement as anything else. If the Europeans can jigger ... *gulp*
infusions of cash to manage unfunded mandates, then we'll all get to see
how that works, including the Chinese and Americans.
We'll see. The European tactics look very good right now.
