Nah. I see capitalism as an evolutionary advance on Mercantilism. It
just eliminates some problems associated with subsidies of Royal Charter
cor****ations.
I think one of the last best things I ever saw was a La Baie store in
Montreal. La Baie is the last vestiges of the Hudson's Bay Company,
now more or less a Sears store in a mall in the outskirts of Montreal.
That I should find such trace is astounding.
