I draw the saner conclusions Econ 101 attendance
allow me to draw: your problems are self induced,
and in no wise "China's fault".
Blame****fting is a favorite game of bigots, but the
outcomes of its efforts fail to withstand sane
analysis.
Had you and your fellows eschewed buying "dreck
because it is cheap", the (local) manufacturers of
quality goods would not have been driven out of
business by the producers of dreck getting all the
consumers' money.
The Chinese in those cir***stances could not have
found their way to economic prosperity until they
produced goods of superior quality to the ones made
local-to-you.
You (collectively) made your bed, now you get to
sleep in it.
This is just one more example of "how life works".
The outcome is no more surprising than is you moving
from a "tropical island paradise" to a Scots tourist
mecca with the tourist industry a big political
force, finding you frequently paying local taxes
that promote tourism.
Why is any of this a particular surprise to you?
More to the point, why do you choose to _whine_ so
about all of it?
