I agree. If that were to happen, it would indeed be the last shoe to
drop.  And that is probably the scenario envisioned by Lisa-Lisa and
Video61 (AKA Chicken Little and Henny Penny) in their little "the
beginning of the end" pronouncement several months ago. Since then,
it's been driving Vid crazy that the central banks are doing what
central banks do--stabilize the financial markets to protect most of
us from catastrophic losses.

Not sure what it means for Hell to break loose "on a very literal
scale", but that sounds like the kind of thing Vid is hoping for.
