it's much better to take the money out of our funding
furthur robbing the treasury
so that when the prices rise
(supply and demand and all that "economics" bs*)
the money goes to the oil companies
instead of the government
that's leadership and courage
who wants the dirty mean government getting the funds
when the poor maligned oil companies are hurting so?
* since we are in a rising price cycle
the commodity is still adjusting price
to match demand for the commodity
with the supply being allowed on to the market
nothing about the distribution of the funds
changes this fundamental dynamic of economics
